What's with the picture Jack?

What picture?! *is taken a little by surprise* It’s nothing. I found a picture of you in my apartment and…well…now we’re talking about it.

Nice picture Cole…

Don’t mind me Phelps…just…observing…

Your old war buddy is quite a looker Jack

Jackie…leave me alone. And stop it. No I’m not introducing you to him.

Maybe you should Kelso. I’m sure your sister would make a good enough wife for our friend.

Don’t encourage her Stefan. She’ll bug me forever to introduce her to him…

Jack Kelso was not a man who got pulled over often, especially because he was speeding. Speeding wasn’t normal for Jack, but the situation he was currently in, Jack needed to pay the ticket off now. He was currently sitting in the police station, waiting for someone to help him because he needed to get back to work. He had cases that needed investigating, and he couldn’t help himself as his leg bounced up and down. He was wringing his hands, needing to do something because sitting down in one spot while he had work that needed to be done, was not really an option for him. Jack sat up once more, and for the third time asked the front desk when he would be able to pay off his ticket.

“When one of the detectives comes downstairs and sees fit to review your ticket then you can pay off the thing. For now mister Kelso, I need you to sit down or else I’ll have one of the officers sit you down for you.” Growling in frustration, Kelso went back to his seat and listened to the meaningless dribble that the women across from him talked about. He listened as cops complained as they got the worst end of the stick and how they wanted to be promoted to Detectives as soon as possible. Pulling off his fedora, Jack set it in his lap and smoothed out the edges, giving his fingers something to do. He really needed a Traffic Detective to come downstairs sooner rather than later.

Stefan came down stairs from his office once he got rung up by the front desk and told that he needed to take care of a speeding ticket for someone. Hands in his pockets Stefan looked over the people waiting around and spotted Jack sitting and looking rather restless before stepping over to the other man.
“I take it you’re the one with the ticket problem?”

Jack looks up to see Stefan standing next to him questioning him about the ticket and he is nothing shirt of grateful that Stefan has showed up. He’s only met Stefan a couple of times, he’s gotten along with the man and honestly he’s been a good friend. Jack stands, holding out the small piece of paper that’s been causing him so much grief this morning.

“I have this speeding ticket that needs taking care of and he,” Jack casually point towards the front desk and the officer sitting behind it with disdain before looking back at Stefan, “told me I needed a Traffic detective or officer to take care of it and review it. You think you could do me a huge favor and take care of this for me?” Jack lets a small smile tug at his lips if only for the briefest of seconds before pulling back into his normal tight lipped frown.

Jack takes a seat in one of the booths, making himself as comfortable as possible and ordered two cups of coffee. One for him, and one for Bekowsky. It was drizzling softly outside and the sun wasn’t making itself known for quite awhile. Sighing, Jack looked around the the diner, observing others and making a note that the waitress was young, beautiful and had nice eyes. She was indeed a good looking woman, yet…there was nothing there. Shaking his head he sipped at the warm cup of coffee and waited.

Stefan quickly finished up the last of his morning paperwork that he’d left over from the night before. He’d be damned if he was going to stay overtime to finish up that sort of work. Getting files hastily put away Stefan grabbed his suit jacket from the back of his chair and his hat from his desk before rushing out of the station. If anyone needed him for anything they’d just have to look elsewhere. It was too early dammit and he needed his morning coffee.

Heading out Stefan quickly crossed the street and headed down the few blocks to the nearest diner. Steping inside and looking around Stefan spots Jack setting in one of the booths nearest the door and Stefan nods in greeting before slipping into the seat across from Jack.

“Nice to see you Stefan.” Jack pushes the cup towards Stefan’s direction and smiles. It’s been awhile since he’s seen the man and he looks good.”Want to get something to eat too? I hear the sandwhiches are good.” Jack motioned over to the waitress before looking back at Stefan.
